The Freshwater Diving in Indonesia

Indonesia, as a tropical country has so many wonderful place that able to be visited. Bali is one of the place. But you have to know that we have other awesome place in Indonesia. Here is "Umbul Ponggok". Umbul is adopted from Javanese Language for fountain and the Ponggok is name of the village where it's located. 

Umbul Ponggok is a small human-made pool in Klaten. a District of Central Java Province (it's about 300 km from Jakarta The Capitol City). It's a freshwater pool with so clear water with freshwater fish. So what can you do here...

1.You Can Diving Here

First, if you an amateur or it's your first diving time. Umbul Ponggok is the best place for begin your hobby. Because it's a small lake (or call it pool) so the accident that may occur if you diving in the sea could be minimized.

2.Say Hello with the Exotic Freshwater Fish 

In this pool, you can meet with big colorful fresh water fish. And you can touch it. There are Giant Golden Fish, Giant Gouramy fish, Red Nila Fish and etc. This fish looks so friendly with the diver. 

3. A great Idea: Pre wedding photo

you can make your wedding as an exotic and unforgettable moment here. Take an underwater camera  and enjoy the moment with your soulmate. May you need a professional cameramen to take the picture well. If you need it, Klaten has some recommended studio photo for you. 

4. How to get here

Klaten is located between Yogyakarta and Surakarta. It easy to access here. If you arrived from Jakarta. You just continue by train from Gambir Station Jakarta to Klaten Station or Yogyakarta Station. It's about IDR 400,000 for one ticket or US$ 30 and need 7 hours to be here.
